The Port Clinton Power Squadron is a local unit of the United States Power Squadrons, the largest private, non-profit boating organization in the world. We are devoted to boater education and fellowship of men and women who share a love of boating.
Located in beautiful Port Clinton on Lake Erie, we provide a wide array of activities for members and services to the community.
-
Monthly dinner meetings foster fellowship and provide informative speakers on boating related topics. Meetings are held at local restaurants and yacht clubs as the Squadron does not have its own building.
-
A Summer Rendezvous on Lake Erie to share a boating experience.
-
Educational courses to expand the knowledge of members so they become proficient in navigation, maintenance, weather systems and all boating related subjects.
-
Trained Squadron personnel provide hundreds of free Vessel Safety Inspections to local boaters. Click on the Decal at the top left to send an email to our VSC scheduler.
-
Each year the Squadron conducts Safe Boating Classes with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Students passing the course are certified as meeting the Ohio State Boater Education requirements.
